About The Position

Swift Transportation is seeking a Tax Assistant to provide support to the tax department. This role involves processing income tax filings, tax payment requests, escheat/unclaimed property filings and payments, and property tax payment requests. The assistant will also help with monthly fuel tax processing and maintain the tax calendar.

Requirements

• Previous administrative/office experience preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to tax department.
• Process income tax filings including tax payment requests.
• Assist with processing of escheat/unclaimed property filings and payments.
• Prepare property tax payment requests.
• Assist with monthly fuel tax processing.
• Maintain tax calendar.
