This position is part of an approved Career Development Plan (CDP) and offers career progression opportunities and salary incentives, as funding permits, based on performance, qualifications, and experience. The role involves assisting the public face-to-face and on the telephone with property tax assessments, state income tax filing, and/or real estate tax relief applications. Responsibilities include corresponding with taxpayers, auditing and verifying tax documentation, adjusting tax assessments according to procedures and legal obligations, maintaining tax account records, and performing data entry into the tax management system. The position also requires performing other work as needed.
