About The Position

As a Tax Accountant, you will support the North America Tax Director by leveraging digital, analytical, and automation skills to enable U.S. federal, international, and state income tax compliance, planning, and audit support, with a focus on data‑driven insights and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Accounting, MIS or similar Degree (CPA, Masters in Tax or Accounting strongly preferred)
  • Experience or demonstrated aptitude with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to support workflow automation, data intake, tracking, and internal reporting within a tax function.
  • Strong analytical and data‑manipulation skills, with experience working across large datasets to support tax reporting, reconciliations, and jurisdictional analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and structured analytical models; experience using Excel for automation strongly preferred.
  • Broad exposure to federal, international, and state income tax compliance and research
  • Experience working with SAP data and financial systems; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experienced tax software user (Corptax or similar)
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills

  • 2-4 years of tax, accounting, or digital transformation experience preferred; mix of public accounting and/or industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze book‑to‑tax adjustments for the consolidated U.S. federal income tax return and state income/franchise tax returns, including recurring and non‑routine items.
  • Support the preparation, analysis, and documentation of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations (ASC 740)
  • Contribute to tax technology, automation, and process‑improvement initiatives by developing and maintaining standardized Excel models, Power Apps solutions, and automated workflows (Power Platform) to streamline recurring compliance, reporting, and data‑collection processes.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of data‑driven tools and dashboards to improve visibility, controls, and efficiency across U.S. international tax and country‑specific workstreams
  • Support U.S. international tax compliance and planning activities for U.S. and non‑U.S. entities, including analysis of cross‑border transactions, foreign subsidiaries, and international tax attributes.
  • Assist with U.S. international tax planning and reporting initiatives, including support for FDDEI / FDII‑related analyses, data gathering, and documentation in coordination with finance, project, and operations teams.
  • Prepare and maintain international tax support schedules such as earnings & profits (E&P), foreign tax and attribute pools, and other calculations used across U.S. international compliance and tax provision processes.
  • Support Mexico and Canada tax workstreams, including coordination with local tax teams on data requests, analytical support for local filings, cross‑border consistency, and U.S. reporting considerations.
  • Perform tax research on U.S. federal, international, and state tax matters and document conclusions in clear, well‑structured, audit‑ready workpapers.
