The Tax Administration Analyst is responsible for supporting royalty accounting operations, Licensee reporting and invoicing specifically focused on withholding tax administration, customer tax documentation, and related financial close activities. This role works with large volumes of royalty and tax data, prepares accurate work product within established deadlines, and serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for Licensees, Licensors, internal teams, external tax advisors, and the Dolby tax team. This position plays an integral role in maintaining strong customer relationships through professional written communications and accurate handling of royalty reporting, billing, collections, and tax inquiries. The Analyst is expected to apply strong accounting judgment, understand royalty calculation and allocation methodologies, maintain tax records, tax rate data, and help ensure tax documentation supports appropriate withholding treatment. The Analyst is expected to work independently, take initiative, identify process improvements, assist with the documentation and implementation of controls, and provide guidance to team members on royalty and tax administration processes. Strict adherence to internal controls and operational protocols is crucial to our ability to provide the highest level of service and meet contractual, financial reporting, and tax compliance obligations. This hybrid role requires to work onsite at the Greenwood Village office three days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs).
