About The Position

Our tax professionals work closely with clients on proactive planning, compliance, and strategic problem-solving—far beyond year-end filings. We’re seeking a Tax Accountant to support a range of tax engagements for individuals and closely held businesses, with a strong focus on S-Corporations and Partnerships. This role is hands-on, preparing and reviewing returns of varying complexity while maintaining accurate client books in QuickBooks Online. You’ll work directly with clients to gather information, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality, timely filings, with exposure to tax planning and compliance across multiple engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred (or relevant years of experience)
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax codes and regulations
• 1 – 5 years of experience with individual, partnership, and s-corp returns
• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients

Nice To Haves

• A CPA license or are CPA eligible

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple and complex tax returns, including but not limited to Individual, partnership, and S-Corp returns, with minimal to no supervision.
• General accounting, bookkeeping, and cleaning client’s books utilizing QuickBooks Online.
• Collaborate with leadership in coordinating large client engagements, identification of problems and providing solutions.
• Assist with tax planning, tax compliance, and onboarding of new clients while maintaining quality client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients.
