About The Position

Design Hire is seeking a Tax Accountant with a strong background in individual and business tax filings. This role is best suited for someone who is tax-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting clients with accurate filings, accounting records, and year-round financial questions.

Requirements

• Strong tax filing background required, including individual and business returns.
• EA or CPA required
• QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Strong understanding of tax preparation, documentation, deadlines, and client communication.
• High attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in an accounting firm is a plus.
• Familiarity with Paycom, ADP, or similar payroll systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, business, and related tax filings with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Support clients with tax documentation, filing requirements, financial records, and follow-up questions.
• Use QuickBooks Online to review transactions, reconcile accounts, and support clean year-end reporting.
• Coordinate with clients and internal team members to collect missing information and resolve filing issues.
• Assist with accounting, payroll-related coordination, and general client support as needed.
