About The Position
We're currently partnered with a growing boutique CPA firm (25 professionals) in the St. Louis area that is looking to add an experienced Tax Accountant to their team. This is a unique opportunity to join a firm that has built a strong reputation for developing its people, maintaining a balanced workload, and creating long-term career paths.
Requirements
- Experience in public accounting (tax preparation and review)
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with UltraTax, Xero, or Sage preferred
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and nonprofits
- Handling both tax and accounting work across a diverse client base
- Working closely with experienced CPAs and firm leadership
- Contributing to client service and long-term relationship development
