Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience in tax, accounting, or indirect tax compliance preferred
Knowledge of sales and use tax concepts is a big plus
Experience with ERP systems; S2K experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong analytical and research abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Respond to sales and use tax inquiries from internal teams and customers via the tax inbox.
Research and interpret state and local taxability rules to ensure accurate tax application.
Monitor and stay current on changes in indirect tax laws and regulations, provide taxability determinations for products and customer transactions.
Configure and maintain customer-specific tax rules based on business requirements.
Collect, review, and validate customer exemption certificates, maintain and update exemption certificate management systems to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
Assist with gathering and analyzing data for state and local indirect tax audits.
Perform month-end reconciliation of denied tax credit entries
Support business units by addressing indirect tax-related questions and issues
