About The Position

Serves as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for a professional support services contracted effort. Acts as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues. Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties identified independently. Overseeing the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree plus 10 years relevant experience or Bachelor's Degree plus 14 years relevant experience.
  • DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management or equivalent (e.g., PMP).
  • Proven experience managing DoD professional support services contracts of similar scope ($100M+)
  • Direct experience with DoD acquisition processes including DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, and SECNAVINST 5000.2 series
  • Experience briefing Flag/SES/Senior level Government officials
  • Proficiency with Navy enterprise tools including NERP, IRAPS, and SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to learn and apply project management concepts to assigned duties.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.
  • Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contractor execution of all contract requirements across program management, acquisition, contracts, installation/modernization, and cost estimation functional areas
  • Serve as primary interface the Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Principal Assistant Program Managers, and Assistant Program Managers
  • Direct efforts of all contractor staff assigned to the task order
  • Coordinate monthly status reporting (CDRL A001) covering performance, schedule, financial status, and personnel staffing
  • Implement cost saving and cost control initiatives throughout contract lifecycle
  • Work on high-visibility and mission-critical aspects of the program
  • Perform all functional duties independently while overseeing less senior staff
