About The Position

The Cybersecurity Task Lead will provide overall management and oversight of all activities performed by approximately 20 cybersecurity personnel. This technical task lead will facilitate Government and Contractor communications, apply industry-best standards and proven methodologies to track and document requirements and activities, and ensure all tasks are accomplished in accordance with program requirements. The Task Lead will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the team's performance and will assist the Government with financial and business processes in collaboration with the Program Management Team.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering
  • 10 years of experience, including supervisory or lead experience
  • 5 years of experience in IT leadership and accountability
  • 5 years of experience in IT strategic planning
  • 5 years of experience in IT workforce management
  • 5 years of experience in IT budgeting and multi-year planning
  • 5 years of experience in IT investment management
  • 5 years of experience in Information security and privacy program management
  • 5 years of experience in Digital equity and accessibility
  • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
  • Certified in Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO)
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+)
  • GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
  • GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC
  • Oversee regular cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate emerging threats
  • Coordinate internal and external security audits to validate the effectiveness of controls
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and coordinate tasks among different project teams to prevent resource conflicts
  • Lead crisis response efforts during major security incidents, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery
  • Oversee the selection and management of third-party security vendors and ensure acquisitions meet organizational security standards
  • Drive a "security-first" culture through organization-wide cybersecurity education and training programs
