About The Position

The Task Lead and Senior International SOF Support SME serves as the contractor’s primary contact, managing project tasks, schedules, personnel, travel, surge hours, quality control, and J3-I coordination. The role advises USSOCOM/J3-I on international SOF planning and partner integration, requiring senior Army Special Forces experience, a master’s degree, SAMS or equivalent, recent operational experience, JPME II, and TS/SCI eligibility.

Requirements

  • Senior (O5 or above) Army Special Forces officer
  • 15 years combined experience in operations and PN development at O6-command, TSOC, or NATO SOF HQ level
  • Master’s degree in international relations or related field
  • Graduate of School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) or equivalent military planning course
  • 1 year recent (last 5 years) combat/operational experience as part of combined joint special operations task force or TSOC staff
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with coalition SOF partners
  • Joint Professional Military Education Level II or equivalent graduate
  • Current DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access

Responsibilities

  • Oversees day-to-day project management and administration for J3-I support tasks.
  • Develops work plans and schedules aligned with J3-I mission objectives.
  • Assigns contractor responsibilities and manages travel and surge hours.
  • Performs quality checks and coordinates with government stakeholders on deliverables.
  • Advises J3-I leadership on international SOF support and program management.
  • Facilitates strategic planning and develops performance and success measures.
  • Supports integration of Partner Nation SOF capabilities into plans and operations.
