About The Position

Provide consulting and reporting services to internal lines of business on tariff related issues, including customer-specific inquiries, escalated complaints and understanding and interpretation of complex legal and regulatory matters and the associated enterprise-wide and customer related impacts. Uses tariff and regulatory expertise and knowledge of PG&E’s operations, customers’ end-use equipment and customers’ business processes. Service is provided to any line of business upon request. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Job-related experience, 7 years
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time

Responsibilities

  • Often the primary representative for the Company on issues related to assigned tariffs.
  • Provides complex tariff support and guidance to customer contact employees and others at PG&E in assigned tariff areas with limited direction from Supervisor.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex issues related to tariff application with some guidance from supervisor and may be PG&E’s primary contact on a particular issue with regulators and industry groups.
  • May lead tariff quality assurance initiative or training development and delivery.
  • May lead negotiations and be involved in meetings with PG&E’s largest customers or governmental agencies on new and existing tariff solutions.
  • Assists in the development of internal policies that support the consistent application of assigned tariffs.
  • Examines alternate solutions to tariff issues, effectively troubleshoots various issues, and provides findings and recommendations for internal clients and external stakeholders.
  • May prepare draft advice letters, testimony or data request responses for regulatory filings.
  • May prepare various reports and draft summary letters, and will respond to data request responses for regulatory filings.
  • May co-lead face to face customer education effort with partners in other organizations.
