The ideal candidate will be a self-starter able to work across multiple staff sections to self-task and guide J3 activities to combat drug-related transnational crime.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience targeting utilizing multiple intelligence disciplines
  • Working knowledge of targeting methodology and policy
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while responding promptly to requests for information
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment; ability to manage changing priorities effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize products for senior leader briefings and external organizations
  • Highly proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools, and data-sharing tools and databases (e.g Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) and Maven Smart System (MSS)
  • Valid US Passport
  • Active DoD TS security clearance with SCI eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting PACOM / CCMD operational directorates
  • Previous experience supporting DoD, counter-drug, and law enforcement missions

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and synchronize strategic operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) across the PACOM AOR
  • Work closely with J2/J3 cross-functional teams to integrate operational guidance into intelligence activities, find and coordinate opportunities, and execute effects
  • Incorporate best practices and follow Joint Publication (JP) standards and processes; collaborate with law enforcement partners and PACOM counterparts as required
  • Support assessment and evaluation; assist in the development and tracking of Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP)
  • Capture lessons learned, analyze deficiencies and connect findings to learning events to improve operational outcomes, etc.
  • Support development of planning workflows and dashboard capabilities, including AI-enabled workflow tools
  • Prepare agendas and read-aheads to support planning events, capture decisions, and assign and track actions as required
  • Prepare and deliver briefings to leadership, operational customers, and partner organizations as required
