Conducting advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to generate insights and leads, ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain additional target information; maintaining appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis; developing comprehensive baseline profiles of designated target sets; identifying intelligence gaps to tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps; employing multiple analysis disciplines such as pattern recognition against targets' communications, network usage and digital footprints; applying knowledge and understanding of IC needs and missions, as well as the targets’ culture, behaviors, and communications technologies; mentoring other analysts on the tools and methodologies used to conduct TDNA.

Requirements

  • Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development
  • Capable of running basic DNI and DNR queries to answer specific questions with existing Agency tools
  • Can task own selectors with assistance of senior analysts
  • Able to evaluate leads for tasking and able to use appropriate tasking authorities
  • Possess a basic understanding internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing
  • Possess a basic understanding of SIGINT collection
  • Capable of basic target discovery and collection triage
  • United States Citizenship
  • Position appropriate security clearance is required (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph)
  • Nine (9) years of experience and an Highschool degree/GED
  • Seven (7) years of experience and an Associate's Degree
  • Five (5) years of experience and an Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years of experience and an Master's Degree
  • Two (2) years of experience and an Doctorate Degree

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Liberal Arts field (e.g., English, History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) are preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable
  • Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.

Responsibilities
