About The Position

TDNA will be supporting CSD primary Mission Office and will be well versed in tradecraft associated with target development in both sustained and discovery AOR. TDNA must have relevant experience with SIGINT and AMOD. TDNA must be fluent with stored comms and passive resources. TDNA must have ability to build out assigned target set and identify indicators of compromise organically for new/follow-on development. TDNA will be well versed in tracking lateral movement of target via claimed infrastructure. TDNA will be well versed in packet analysis. TDNA will be required to have experience with Machine Learning and AI for focused discovery efforts. TDNA must be well versed in tradecraft associated with characterization of personas, companies, capabilities, and target networks. Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development. Capable of running basic DNI and DNR queries to answer specific questions with existing Agency tools. Can task own selectors with assistance of senior analysts. Able to evaluate leads for tasking and able to use appropriate tasking authorities. Possess a basic understanding internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing. Possess a basic understanding of SIGINT collection. Capable of basic target discovery and collection triage. Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

Requirements

  • Relevant experience with SIGINT and AMOD.
  • Experience with Machine Learning and AI for focused discovery efforts.
  • Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development.
  • Basic understanding of internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing.
  • Basic understanding of SIGINT collection.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Position appropriate security clearance (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

  • Master's Degree in Liberal Arts field (e.g., English, History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) preferred.
  • Doctorate Degree in Liberal Arts field (e.g., English, History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) preferred.
  • Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of coursework equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.

Responsibilities

  • Support CSD primary Mission Office.
  • Utilize tradecraft associated with target development in both sustained and discovery AOR.
  • Be fluent with stored comms and passive resources.
  • Build out assigned target set and identify indicators of compromise organically for new/follow-on development.
  • Track lateral movement of target via claimed infrastructure.

  • Characterize personas, companies, capabilities, and target networks.
  • Run basic DNI and DNR queries to answer specific questions with existing Agency tools.
  • Task own selectors with assistance of senior analysts.
  • Evaluate leads for tasking and use appropriate tasking authorities.
  • Perform basic target discovery and collection triage.
