About The Position

The Target Analyst Reporter Level 2 is sought for an opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is a mandatory requirement. This role involves prioritizing, assessing, evaluating, and reporting information derived from passive and active collection, network evaluation, and analysis, integrating related collateral sources to deliver synthesized products to customers. The Target Analyst Reporter is expected to write reports, which may necessitate significant editing and assistance in determining reportability, locating information (including basic queries or raw data), and focusing the report. Familiarity with basic SIGINT reporting policies and SIGINT/collateral report repositories is required to conduct research and combine information into reports/products in response to management and external customer requests. The position also involves receiving mentorship and significant guidance from Government personnel. Key capabilities for a Level 2 Target Analyst Reporter include experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) in drafting and/or editing serialized SIGINT product reports for final release, the ability to author reports from simple or limited traffic, and knowledge of various technologies and topics to identify analytic vectors. The role requires experience in the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and systems for SIGINT information (identification, collection, analysis, processing, dissemination) according to established requirements, and proficiency in software applications and databases pertinent to SIGINT report writing and target development.

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph
At least eight (8) years demonstrated experience as a Target Analyst supporting the IC or USG military
At least two (2) of the years of experience must have been within the last 5 years

Responsibilities

Prioritizes, assesses, evaluates and reports information obtained from passive and active collection, network evaluation and analysis, combined with related collateral sources when appropriate to provide synthesized product to customers
Writes reports which may require significant editing
May require assistance in determining reportability of an activity
Requires assistance in locating reportable information (i.e. can only run basic queries or may require raw information to be provided)
May require assistance in determining the focus of report
Is familiar with basic SIGINT reporting policies
May require familiarization with SIGINT and collateral report repositories to conduct research that would enhance reporting the ability to pull information from multiple sources and combine it into reports/products in response to requests by management and external customers
Requires mentorship and/or significant guidance from Government personnel
Experience within IC in drafting and/or editing for finished release, serialized SIGINT product reports
Ability to author reports based off simple traffic or a limited amount of traffic
Knowledgeable of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors
Experienced in the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities
