About The Position

Fluor is a leading government contractor committed to fostering a welcoming and collaborative work environment. This role is for a Custodian who will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the orderly condition of various premises, including washrooms, office premises, different flooring styles, and common rooms such as break and dining areas. The position requires an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.

Requirements

Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Ability to work weekend shifts and occasional weekend days depending on current staffing
Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program)

Responsibilities

Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing floors
Removing trash and general refuse
Dusting furniture and fixtures, polishing metal fixtures and/or trimmings
Cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms
Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as deep-cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing additional rubbish
Performing routine equipment maintenance activities (vacuums, custodial hand tools, etc.)
Notifying management of need for site repairs
