About The Position

The Turnaround Scheduler will walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects proper status and forecast. During execution, Schedulers will mobilize to the field and provide daily forecasts for the management team. All Turnaround Schedulers will ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.

Use Primavera P6
Work with planners and operations
Work with cost group and planners
Monitor contractor’s safety practices
Monitor contractor’s head count
Work with inspections
Coordinate with cost group on AWR cost.

Responsibilities

Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc. in Primavera P6
Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in schedule
Facilitate schedule reviews with TMT and Ops
Work with planners and operations to develop decom/com plans for each system
Work with cost group and planners on histograms and start/stop dates of necessary contractors
Contractor Onboarding
Follow assigned contractors/jobs and verify progress throughout all phases
Work with coordinators to monitor productivity of contractor throughout all phases
Monitor all contractor’s safety practices
Monitor contractor’s head count and insure it is appropriate for the work fronts
Work with inspections to identify any additional/discovery work
Coordinate with cost group on AWR cost.
Maintain clean and non-repetitious scheduling database
Maintain a safe and sanitary work place
Constantly monitor Enterprise’s scheduling practices and suggest improvements where you see fit
