Requirements

Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of Vallarta’s Taquería menu and food preparation.
Familiarity with equipment and tools used in the Taquería department.
Basic understanding of English language.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, respectful, and professional attitude.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a cook or prep helper preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers with a smile and provide outstanding, prompt service.
Prepare food orders consistently in portion, quality, and appearance to company standards.
Only prepare food orders that have been paid for.
Promote sales by suggestive selling of advertised specials.
Assist cooks in gathering and preparing meats and other ingredients.
Notify management when products or supplies are needed.
Transport products to and from coolers and storage areas.
Monitor food temperatures and report discrepancies to management.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work safely, using tools and equipment properly, and report issues immediately.
Treat coworkers and customers respectfully; no profanity or obscene gestures.
Follow all health codes, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures.
Follow company dress code; change apron/smock as needed.
Abide by all company rules and Employee Handbook policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
