The Company serves a diverse commercial and military customer base from its Global EMI Shielding Technology Center located in Tampa, Florida. Every detail of the company’s one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility is tailor-engineered to streamline and improve customer service, engineering and manufacturing processes. The Taping Worker position is responsible for properly sealing, embedding, and taping products per customer drawings, requirements, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

  • One to three years of work experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench-type processes to complete taping, using hand tools.
  • Following established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary to tape strips: read job traveler, create parts to sample given by supervisor, safely use utility knife.
  • Use and be familiar with tape and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to perform simple shop math.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company’s quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
