About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Safely operate tanker trucks to transport materials to plants, job sites, and customer locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and regulatory compliance. Load and unload materials while following all safety procedures and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills and customer-focused mindset
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
