About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating a tanker truck to transport and deliver bulk materials to customer sites. The position requires conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and loading/unloading materials following safety procedures. Effective communication with dispatch and customers is essential for timely deliveries. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining equipment cleanliness and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and handle bulk materials.
Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and attention to detail in all tasks.
Effective communication and customer service skills in a delivery environment.
Ability to manage time, prioritize routes, and adapt to changing schedules.
Valid Class A CDL.
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a tanker truck to transport and deliver bulk materials to customer sites.

Load and unload tanker materials following established safety procedures and regulatory standards.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely, efficient deliveries.
Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
