About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves safely operating tanker vehicles to transport bulk materials to customer and company locations. The position requires performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The driver will represent the company professionally and support safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to safely operate tanker or commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations
Valid CDL with applicable endorsements and a strong focus on safety and responsibility
Ability to inspect equipment, identify issues, and take appropriate action
Capability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members
Commitment to safe work practices, reliability, and continuous improvement
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Responsibilities

Safely operate tanker vehicles to transport bulk materials to customer and company locations
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
Load, unload, and deliver materials while following all safety and compliance standards
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Represent the company professionally while supporting safe and efficient operations
