About The Position
This role involves driving a tractor/trailer safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and plant safety rules. The position requires managing various paperwork, including daily logs, bills of lading, and fuel reports. A commitment to safety communication and adherence is essential, as is communication with dispatch and other drivers. The driver will also be responsible for monitoring vehicle condition and reporting any defects to maintenance. Other duties as assigned by management may be required.
Requirements
- Class "A" driver's license
Responsibilities
- Drive tractor/trailer safely and professionally, following all traffic laws, regulations and plant safety rules.
- Manage a variety of paperwork, such as daily logs, bill of ladings, and fuel reports.
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Communication with dispatch and other drivers will be essential.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report any defects to maintenance.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
