About The Position

Cando Rail & Terminals delivers integrated transportation, coordination, and transloading solutions across North America. At our Auburn, Maine operation, you will be part of a team that safely moves critical products through a combination of truck, rail, storage, and material handling services. We are looking for a safety-focused CDL-A driver who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and values being part of a dedicated team.

Requirements

Valid CDL-A License.
Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
Two or more years of experience transporting hazardous materials, bulk liquids, or chemical products in a commercial driving environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in a hands-on environment.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card and Passport.

Responsibilities

Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous products while maintaining compliance with DOT and company standards.
Support local and regional transportation operations.
Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain accurate operational documentation.
Assist with product loading, unloading, and transfer activities.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations personnel, customers, and fellow team members.
Contribute to a positive safety culture by identifying hazards and promoting safe work practices.
Partner with coworkers to ensure efficient, reliable service for our customers.

Benefits

$5,000 Start Bonus
Starting pay begins at $32.00+ per hour, with higher rates available for qualified candidates.
