Tank Technician 1
About The Position
The Tank Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining frac tanks and related equipment, and assisting with their delivery and pickup. The role also involves preparing tanks for delivery and pickup, responding to service calls, tracking rental-ready and out-of-service assets in the yard, and assisting Field Technicians with larger jobs such as RU/RD and hot work. The technician operates Company vehicles and equipment according to policy and safety procedures, completes required monthly safety and equipment-related training, and answers a Company-issued cell phone during on-call hours in accordance with Company and safety policies. The technician is expected to work with ethics, honesty, values, and integrity and to present a professional demeanor. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain frac tanks.
- Prepare tanks for delivery and pickup.
- Take service calls.
- Track assets in the yard, including those ready to rent and those that are down.
- Assist Field Technicians with larger jobs, including RU/RD and hot work.
- Operate Company vehicles and equipment in accordance with policy and safety procedures.
- Complete required monthly safety and equipment-related training.
- Answer the Company-issued cell phone during on-call hours in accordance with Company and safety policies.
- Perform other duties, responsibilities, or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
