We are looking for Tank Trailer Mechanics/ Welders to deliver the exceptional service experience. Requirements

• Experience welding on aluminum, stainless, and mild steel tanks, and components is a must.
• Seeking experienced petroleum, chemical and dry bulk tank mechanics.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.
• Experience with DOT and ASME tank repairs.
• Understanding of tank plumbing and operation.
• Experience installing power takeoffs, drive lines, and product pumping systems.
• Experience with DOT tank inspection procedures and testing equipment.
• Layout and fabrication skills.
• Must have your own tools.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• CDL Preferred
• Experience moving trailers in and out of shop a plus
• Registered Inspector training and certification a plus
• Preferably the successful candidate will have inspector credentials

Responsibilities

• Welding on aluminum, stainless, and mild steel tanks, and components.
• Performing repairs on petroleum, chemical and dry bulk tanks.
• Performing DOT and ASME tank repairs.
• Moving trailers in and out of the shop.
• Understanding tank plumbing and operation.
• Installing power takeoffs, drive lines, and product pumping systems.
• Performing DOT tank inspection procedures and testing.
• Layout and fabrication.
• Performing Registered Inspector training and certification.
• Operating a variety of power and hand tools safely.
• Working with compressed air safely.
• Operating fork trucks safely.
• Utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE).
