About The Position

The Tank Maintenance Driver is responsible for maintaining, installing, and removing equipment at customer locations. This role also involves assisting with spill cleanups and maintaining new and used containers in inventory throughout KY, OH, and Southeastern IN. The driver will be responsible for the maintenance of containers in use at customer locations, noting any damage or problems and relaying this information to their supervisor. They will also maintain a supply inventory of new and reconditioned tanks, clean the truck, old containers, and the general work area to meet sanitation standards. Additionally, the driver will maintain the company vehicle in the cleanest possible manner, complete a daily vehicle condition report, and operate the vehicle in accordance with federal, state, local, and company safety policies, including maintaining a DOT e-Log. Excellent customer service is expected, with a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a current or be able to acquire a Commercial Driver's Medical Certification (non CDL medical card).

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance on containers in use at customer locations.
  • Notes any damage or problems with containers and relays such information to supervisor.
  • Maintains supply inventory of both new and reconditioned tanks in inventory.
  • Cleans truck, old containers, and general work area as required to meet sanitation standards.
  • Maintains company vehicle in cleanest possible manner; completes vehicle condition report daily for submission to Fleet manager.
  • Operates vehicle in accordance with federal, state, local, and company safety policies; required to maintain a DOT e-Log.
  • Maintains excellent customer service by presenting friendly, courteous, professional attitude.
