Non CDL Driver
About The Position
Executes daily deliveries using a 26 foot Non CDL Box Truck to customers. Loads and unloads trucks by hand or pallet jack; limited use of lift gates. Provides excellent customer service. Prepares product for shipping to include boxing and shrink wrapping. Ensures deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner to meet customer needs. Complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; has DOT Medical card. Conducts pre and post trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues. Home daily – no overnight routes. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent education
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have current DOT medical card
- 21+ years of age
- 1+ years of driving experience operating a 26-foot box truck
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or with a team
- Prior warehouse experience
- Good customer service skills
- Must possess attention to detail
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening skills with the ability to communicate
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
