As a Tank Bottom Operator with Aaron Oil, you will turnover process tanks in the tank bottom area at a productive pace that allows fast processing and maximizes production of tank bottom material.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to do confined space entry into tanks when needed.
  • Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
  • Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working an in industrial environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Profile process tanks recording layers of material and report to production manager.
  • Move processed material and re-fill process tanks for maximum production.
  • Profile and water draw all trans mix sales tanks. Tanks should be filled and water drawn to allow production manager to schedule load out of trans-mix material. Any trans-mix material on hand must be moved through the system swiftly to allow for maximum production.
  • Unload and load Tank Bottom trucks in a timely and safe manner.
  • Maintain the appearance of process area and Tank Bottom Storage area.
  • Clean area daily at the end of every shift.
  • Perform all work as neatly as possible.
  • Clean storage tanks as directed
  • Ensure good communication with the supervisor so no delays in production take place.
  • Assist pump room operator with finished product load outs, internal transfers, and the unloading of trucks as needed.
  • Assist the sludge process technician with all duties as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor as may be necessary.
