About The Position

The Commercial Dump (Tandem) Truck Driver will drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). May be required to unload truck. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a tandem truck
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Personal information
• Driver’s license (number, state, expiration date, type, endorsements, hazmat expiration); licenses in other states in the past 3 years
• 36 months of residency history
• 3 years of employment history
• Accidents and violations in the last 3 years
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tandem truck to transport materials to and from job sites
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
