About The Position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist I or II, you will support our Renewables market sector (solar, wind, battery storage), working closely with company leaders to anticipate and address the evolving needs of our workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to recruit top talent for both current and upcoming opportunities. Our team holds high expectations for ourselves and one another, driven by a passion for serving others. We operate within a complex organization and are currently experiencing significant growth. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and adaptable. In this full-cycle recruitment role, agility in your recruitment approach is essential. We have a diverse range of positions we recruit for, with positions located across the U.S. Familiarity with traveling or constructions roles is helpful but not required. This is an onsite position that can be located in our Dallas or Fargo office locations: 4850 32nd Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104; 2611 Regent Blvd, Dallas, TX 75063. Expected travel for this position is 10% to support recruitment related events and team meetings.

Requirements

  • Talent Specialist I: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Talent Specialist I: Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience
  • Talent Specialist II: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience is required
  • Talent Specialist II: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail while operating with a high sense of urgency
  • Intermediate sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a penchant towards metrics
  • Experience recruiting talent in competitive markets
  • Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture
  • Ability to interact and build strong relationships with multiple levels of management
  • Effectively communicate to multiple levels of the organization and internal HR team

Nice To Haves

  • construction industry experience preferred
  • construction, energy, or blue collar related recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience with iCIMS, UKG and/or Service Now is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to develop relationships as a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize effectiveness of the recruiting process
  • Evaluate hiring and interview processes and techniques, system improvements, and identify training opportunities where applicable
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long-term talent pipeline needs, and fill their open positions in a timely manner
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Ensure hiring plans provide equal opportunities to all candidates (internal and external)
  • Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate, qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding
  • Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system
  • Develop recruitment strategies to include internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates utilizing the most cost-effective methods and techniques to meet staffing levels
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects
  • Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals
  • Regular and predictable attendance

  • Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
