About The Position

The Talent Onboarding Specialist provides outstanding service to those involved in our recruiting and onboarding process. You will work with Accounting Services Leadership and Talent Acquisition to provide support for the recruitment and onboarding processes. In this role, you will play an important part in welcoming new hires into our organization. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the onboarding process and ensuring a positive and engaging experience for our new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years related administrative or business support experience; Human Resources or recruiting support beneficial
  • Display high degree of judgment, discretion and confidentiality
  • Maintain cooperative professional relationships with customers, peers, supervisors, managers, and the community in general, while projecting a professional image through in-person and virtual interaction
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, work well under pressure, and adapt to assist the team in meeting stakeholder demands on accelerated schedules
  • Effective interaction skills with individuals at all levels in the organization, including senior leadership, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of network and desktop systems, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and experience with Application Tracking Systems

Responsibilities

  • Actively support the Accounting Services recruitment process and consistently demonstrate exceptional communication with Hiring Managers, Compass recruiters, external recruiters, and candidates
  • Management of recruitment support to include monitoring internal and external candidate submissions, uploading job requisitions, reviewing candidate resumes, interview scheduling, offer letter preparation, and onboarding
  • Complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification process for all new hires within Accounting Services
  • Facilitate Day 1 new associate Tech Set Up/IT training to ensure systems are functioning as expected and all appropriate access is granted
  • Assist with compiling new associate bios and load them to our internal intranet site (MyCompass)
  • Maintain office supply and IT equipment inventory
  • Provide administrative and ad hoc support to the Accounting Services management team
  • Participate in projects and initiatives focused on systems and processes tied to the recruitment life cycle, from requisition approval through onboarding.
  • Identify and resolve onboarding, payroll, or other miscellaneous issues related to the hiring process
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
