Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E+ES) Division is focused on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries. Requirements

  • Talent Management: Knowledge of how Caterpillar attracts, recruits, retains, identifies, and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
  • Training and Development: Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.

  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of Caterpillar’s vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Succession Planning: Knowledge of policies, techniques, methods and processes of succession planning; ability to identify and develop internal employees for the future fulfillment of an organization's core positions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the division’s global talent management strategy and deployment efforts to effectively develop, manage, engage, and retain talent to enable our new and growing business to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
  • Lead initiatives such as leadership development programs, employee development efforts, learning paths and other unique electrification learning initiatives, organizational design and strategic workforce planning, succession planning, change management, career planning, and more.
