Your Role: Talent Learning Systems Manager As the Talent Learning Systems Manager, you will be a key driver of Elanco’s learning culture by owning the strategy and execution for our global Learning Management System (LMS). You will ensure our learning platform delivers an exceptional user experience while navigating the complexities of a validated environment. Partnering closely with the Talent Development & functional learning teams, IT and Quality to translate strategic goals into robust system solutions, you will manage critical vendor relationships and empower our global network of learning administrators. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma / GED with an equivalent level of experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing enterprise-level learning systems or a related talent technology role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing a Learning Management System (LMS), including configuration, user support, and reporting (e.g., SuccessFactors, Skillsoft, Workday Learning).
  • Proven experience managing technology vendors, including contract oversight, performance management, and system updates.
  • Strong understanding of validated system requirements (GxP) and experience partnering with Quality and Compliance teams to maintain system integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading or playing a key role in an LMS implementation or migration project.
  • A passion for creating an exceptional user experience, with a portfolio of system enhancements or process improvements to prove it.
  • Experience managing a global LMS instance with multi-language and regional compliance requirements.
  • Formal project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
  • Specific, hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Learning.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the system strategy for the global Learning Management System (LMS), driving enhancements to optimize functionality and user experience.
  • Manage the strategic partnerships with IT and system vendors, overseeing performance, system updates, and ensuring alignment with Elanco’s technology roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Quality team to ensure the validated state of the learning system is maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and empower the global learning administrator network by establishing best practices, providing expert-level support, and fostering a community of practice.
  • Partner with talent management and functional learning leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable system configurations and process improvements.
