About The Position

The HR Generalist serves as a trusted business partner to manufacturing leaders, providing support across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, and workforce planning. This role helps build a high-performing, engaged workforce by coaching leaders, developing team capability, supporting organizational change, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and mutual respect. At the KC Warren Plant, we are building more than a manufacturing facility—we are building a High Performance Work System (HPWS) where employees are empowered to make decisions, solve problems, develop new skills, and directly influence business results. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.
  • Experience in employee relations, coaching leaders, talent management, and organizational change.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence, build relationships, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work on-site.

  • Experience working in team-based, high-involvement, or High Performance Work System (HPWS) environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coach leaders on onboarding, performance management, employee relations, development planning, and career growth.
  • Support implementation of people strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with leaders to develop action plans from engagement and culture survey results.
  • Support recruitment activities, hiring events, onboarding programs, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps, succession opportunities, and development needs.
  • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Facilitate team effectiveness, leader assimilation, and change management efforts.
  • Drive continuous improvement through coaching, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Support site communications, recognition programs, engagement activities, and community initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, accountability, teamwork, and employee ownership.
  • Partner with leaders and Centers of Excellence on compensation, retention, and workforce solutions.
  • Support implementation of HR programs and corporate initiatives at the site.
