About The Position

American Senior Communities (ASC) is seeking a Talent Development Specialist to support learning and development initiatives across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, organized, and people-focused professional who is passionate about helping employees build their skills, advance their careers, and reach their full potential. As a Talent Development Specialist, you will help design, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning experiences that connect ASC’s organizational goals with employee performance and professional development. You’ll play an important role in creating engaging learning opportunities and fostering a culture where continuous learning and growth are encouraged.

Requirements

• Knowledge of adult learning principles, including adult learning theory and various learning styles.
• Understanding of basic instructional design concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to effectively facilitate and present information to small and mid-sized groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple program logistics simultaneously.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using a learning management system.
• Ability to develop online learning programs using Articulate.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently while maintaining a high level of collaboration.
