About The Position

The Talent Development Specialist enhances the competencies of individual employees by conducting training programs that boost employees’ workplace performance in alliance with company’s core values. You will deliver curriculum and learning materials and manage all phases of training interventions. You will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Development. In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from Phoenix, AZ 85034. We will not consider candidates who require current or future sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing delivery of training through vendors.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written and social media communication skills which support culture and strategy.
  • Solid knowledge of instructional design models and assessment methods.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering curricula for all different learning environments (asynchronous and synchronous).
  • Participates as necessary in consultation, development, and delivery of learning solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Deliver training courses.
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees’ work behavior.
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
  • Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.
