About The Position

VARITE is seeking a qualified Talent Development Manager for a 6-month contract role in Palo Alto, CA. The company is a cloud data management and data protection firm. VARITE, an award-winning minority business enterprise established in 2000, provides global consulting and staffing services to Fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. This role will focus on enhancing the New Hire Orientation experience for the Palo Alto and Americas regions, driving Talent Development & Inclusion (TD&I) measurement and insights, and supporting learner-centered design. The position requires an individual to be the in-person point of contact for new hires on their first day, manage the feedback infrastructure for program effectiveness, and translate data into actionable insights for the TD&I team. Collaboration with the Global TD&I team and Palo Alto-based HRBPs, People Partners, and leaders is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with data management and data analysis tools.
  • G-suite experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of excel/google sheets.
  • Experience with Claude Co-work/Google Gemini.
  • Experience with LMS.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Qualtrics.
  • Strong preference for experience with Docebo LMS.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience with Workday.

Responsibilities

  • Redesign and facilitate in-person New Hire Orientation in Palo Alto (45 minutes each Monday in office), ensuring it reflects company culture, AI-native direction, and multi-product platform.
  • Own the global New Hire Orientation (NHO) strategy, including defining future enhancements, refining content, codifying orientation procedures, and enabling a team of volunteer facilitators.
  • Drive a cohesive measurement strategy for the TD&I team, including administering Talent Development and Inclusion surveys and occasional 360 feedback surveys.
  • Build and maintain instruments for surveys, manage cycles, and ensure clean data flows.
  • Build and maintain the TD&I scorecard, tracking talent density signals, program reach, manager metrics, and inclusion of AI practices.
  • Analyze feedback and usage data to generate insights on learner experience and recommend changes to increase engagement and business relevance.
  • Act as event producer for quarterly Palo Alto and Americas learning events, including local development sessions and manager programs.
  • Provide occasional light consulting support to Palo Alto-based HRBPs, People Partners, and leaders on utilizing TD&I offerings.
  • Apply an AI-literate approach to all work to accelerate impact.
