About The Position

The Talent Development Coach (TDC) is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and management of all new hire and ongoing training programs for Team D&M. This role partners closely with firm leadership and departments to identify training needs, enhance employee performance, and drive engagement across the organization. The TDC plays a critical role in building a culture of continuous learning by developing training content, managing the firm’s learning platforms, and ensuring employees are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in a fast-paced legal environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in training, coaching, talent development, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with legal case management systems (SmartAdvocate a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Developing, coordinating, and implementing onboarding and ongoing training programs for all support staff and departments.
  • Collaborating with leadership to assess individual, departmental, and firm-wide training needs.
  • Creating and managing training calendars and course delivery schedules.
  • Facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the firm’s operational systems, including SmartAdvocate and EvenUp, to effectively develop relevant training content and support team proficiency across platforms.
  • Assisting with content creation and management for the firm’s SharePoint portal.
  • Developing training materials, guides, and resources for employees.
  • Delegating course creation when appropriate.
  • Gathering feedback to evaluate and improve training effectiveness.
  • Conducting regular meetings with leadership to review training progress, priorities, and results.
  • Partnering with department leads to continuously assess and refine training needs across the firm.
