About The Position

The Talent Coordinator partners closely with the regional employment team, recruiters, and candidates to deliver a seamless and positive recruiting and onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently throughout the hiring process. This role requires a creative, high-energy, hands-on professional who can multitask effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The Talent Coordinator provides friendly, exceptional service to internal and external customers and supports special projects and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications, including a Nevada Gaming License.
  • 1–3 years of Human Resources or related administrative experience preferred; hotel/casino experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with employment-related documents and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems preferred (Oracle HCM and Oracle Recruiting Cloud a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, communication, customer service, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, adapt to departmental needs, and learn new tasks quickly.
  • Professional, well-groomed appearance with the ability to engage others in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) required; bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are preferred.
  • Must have manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment including, but not limited to computers, cell phone, etc.
  • Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
  • Must be able to work for long periods of time, under fluorescent lighting.
  • Must be able to spend most of the day working off computer monitors and operating a keyboard.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Must be able to travel off-site to support events and community partnership engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests and candidates to the Employment Center with a consistently professional, upbeat, and positive demeanor.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance to applicants throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Recruiters, Talent Specialists, and Coordinators, and leadership to support a seamless candidate experience.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service standards are upheld within the Employment Office.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, make sound decisions, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support daily administrative and operational needs of the employment function as assigned.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all applicant and employee information at all times.
