About The Position

The Talent & Employee Experience Coordinator focuses on supporting the full employee lifecycle, spanning both talent acquisition and employee experience. Within talent acquisition, responsibilities include managing job postings, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and facilitating preboarding documentation. From an employee experience perspective, the position oversees orientation logistics, engagement initiatives, and training and leadership development workshops. This role ensures a seamless, supportive transition for individuals as they move from being prospective employees to engaged, long-term Bucknell colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field
  • 1 year of office experience or related administrative experience
  • Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace
  • Database management skills, with the ability to quickly master new systems
  • Demonstrated adherence to respecting Confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with HRIS
  • 1 or more years of direct HR Experience

Responsibilities

  • Creating, updating, and maintaining job openings across various platforms and within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Managing calendars to set up interviews and aligning schedules for search committees and candidates.
  • Keeping an eye on recruitment timelines to ensure positions are filled efficiently.
  • Serving as a point of contact for candidates, keeping them informed of their status.
  • Supporting recruitment events and initiatives that promote Bucknell University as a great place to work.
  • Facilitating the pre-employment clearance process, ensuring all background checks and compliance requirements are met efficiently.
  • Preparing offers and preboarding paperwork.
  • Handling the scheduling, setup, and materials needed for New Staff Orientation.
  • Supporting first-year employee milestones and broader employee engagement activities.
  • Assisting in the coordination of programs that celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
  • Assisting with employee surveys, listening sessions, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Preparing recruitment metrics and reports to show what’s working and what isn’t.
  • Supporting the paperwork and timelines for annual performance reviews.
  • Providing administrative support with sensitive workplace issues while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Managing the logistics and events surrounding training and leadership development sessions.
  • Tracking training compliance and completions.
