Talent and Culture Specialist

Agility PR SolutionsOttawa, ON

About The Position

At Agility PR Solutions, we’re transforming how communications and intelligence come together. Our success is driven by talented people, and we’re looking for a recruiter who’s excited to grow their craft while helping us attract great talent in thoughtful, modern ways. This role is designed for someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment and is curious about how AI can support better hiring, not by replacing the human side of the process, but by enhancing it. You’re interested in how new tools and technology can help create a smoother, faster, and more personal candidate experience, without losing the human connection that matters in every hire. We’re seeking a Talent & Culture Specialist to play a hands-on role within our growing People & Culture function. In this role, you’ll handle full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to clarify needs, move searches forward, and guide candidates through the hiring journey from first conversation through onboarding. You’ll be expected to maintain strong follow-through and momentum across recruitment efforts, taking initiative to keep searches moving and continuously improve how we hire. As you work across teams, you’ll build strong working relationships with hiring managers and develop your ability to influence, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-moving environment. You’re particularly energized by the opportunity to explore how traditional recruiting practices can be improved through the practical use of AI-powered tools and data. You’re comfortable trying new approaches, learning quickly from what works (and what doesn’t), and proactively identifying ways to improve sourcing, screening, feedback timelines, and candidate communication. You don’t need to be an AI expert but you are someone who takes ownership of learning and looks for better ways of doing things. Beyond recruitment, this role offers exposure to broader HR and People & Culture initiatives. You’ll contribute to projects that strengthen our culture, improve the employee experience, and support engagement across the company. Throughout your work, you’ll use insights and data to inform decisions, while keeping the human experience at the centre. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the full talent journey, from identifying and engaging great people to supporting their success once they join, and who’s ready to step into a role with real responsibility, autonomy, and room to grow, while working closely with an experienced HR team.

  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and compliance standards, including ESA, OHRC, AODA, and PIPEDA.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Rippling, with attention to data accuracy and reporting.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable experimenting with new technologies and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Interest in contributing to HR and culture initiatives beyond recruitment, such as onboarding, engagement, and employee development.
