About The Position

BJC Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and versatile Talent Advisor to recruit and source for a variety of departments and levels of roles. This role requires an astute ability to work with and communicate with executive leaders, guiding them effectively. This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity for a Talent Advisor with aspirations for growth. The Talent Strategies Team at BJC HealthCare provides a full range of talent acquisition and recruitment support activities for BJC HealthCare across 15 hospitals and community health locations. By acting as a strategic resource for BJC hiring leaders and building strong relationships with internal and external customers, applicants, and candidates, the Talent Strategies Team consults and advises on best practices for bringing talent into the organization, supporting candidates through the hiring process, and delivering an optimal candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains optimal staffing by identifying and acquiring talented employees, both internally and externally.
  • Ensures quality candidates are hired within specified recruiting goals by partnering with hiring managers to understand, develop, and implement specific recruiting strategies and processes related to scope of work.
  • Leads the entire life cycle recruiting process from prospecting to closing of qualified professional and management-level candidates.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and serves as a strategic partner to leaders and individuals across the organization to develop robust staffing plans; leads external hiring and internal mobility activities.
  • Serves as a lead and mentor to talent strategies teams, manages projects, and provides guidance to talent strategies staff, volunteers, and employees through training, direction, and coaching on sourcing, screening, and interviewing activities.
  • Supports financial goals through efficient and effective recruitment processes and ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Analyzes hiring data, manages and monitors staffing strategies, initiatives, and market trends.
  • Consults with customers and organizational centers of practice to share effective talent acquisition and proactive retention strategies.
