About The Position

MaintainX is seeking a Talent Acquisition Team Lead to manage Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) recruiting. This is a building role where you will establish the structure for the team to scale, including coverage models, pipeline review cadences, capacity planning, and consistent interview processes. You will report to the VP of Talent and collaborate closely with EPD leadership. The role involves leading and developing the EPD Talent team, managing recruiters and coordinators across different locations, and owning the EPD recruiting outcomes, including time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates, and quality of hire. You will also carry a personal req load for senior and leadership searches and integrate assessment tooling like CodeSignal.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in technical recruiting
  • At least 2 years managing a team of recruiters focused on engineering and/or product hiring
  • Experience at high-growth SaaS companies ($100M+ ARR or Series C+) where you've scaled a recruiting function through rapid hiring
  • Hands-on experience building recruiting infrastructure: coverage models, capacity plans, SLA frameworks, scorecard design, debrief processes
  • Strong ATS experience (Ashby preferred, Greenhouse/Lever acceptable), comfortable configuring jobs, building reports, and designing workflows
  • Proven ability to recruit senior technical talent personally
  • Data-driven operating style, tracking pass-through rates, conversion by stage, and sourcing yield
  • Experience managing teams across multiple geographies (US and Canada preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the EPD Talent team, managing Talent Partners and Coordinators across Montreal, Toronto, and San Francisco.
  • Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and calibration sessions, setting and enforcing clear performance expectations.
  • Own EPD recruiting outcomes, including time-to-fill, pipeline health, offer acceptance rates, and quality of hire, presenting these metrics weekly to leadership.
  • Carry a personal req load of senior and leadership hires, including Staff+ engineers, engineering managers, senior PMs, and design leads.
  • Build the operating system for EPD recruiting by defining coverage models, capacity planning, stage SLAs, and debrief standards.
  • Partner with EPD leadership on hiring strategy, running calibrated intakes, and advising on role scoping, leveling, and market positioning.
  • Own the quarterly headcount planning process alongside the VP of Talent and Finance.
  • Drive sourcing strategy and channel optimization, managing sourcing output across various platforms and tracking cost-per-hire and source-of-hire data.
  • Implement and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), specifically configuring Ashby for job setup, interview plans, scorecard design, stage automation, and reporting dashboards.
  • Integrate assessment tooling, owning the CodeSignal integration for engineering assessments and ensuring technical screens are calibrated and results are consistently fed into hiring decisions.
