About The Position

Voyago, Transdev Ontario is currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in London, Ontario to fill an immediate vacancy. Reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a driving force in attracting and selecting top talent across all divisions. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leaders to understand recruitment needs, define job requirements, and ensure alignment with company policies, processes and current legislation. You’ll oversee the full recruitment cycle—from managing job postings to proactively sourcing, assessing, and securing high-quality candidates through our Applicant Tracking System. This position is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven recruiter or experienced hiring professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to advance their career in Talent Acquisition. Please note, this is not a remote position and the successful candidate will be required to work onsite in the London office, hybrid options may be considered after a successful 6 months of employment. Salary range is $53,000 to $58,000.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Recruitment or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Goal-oriented attitude
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction
  • Enhanced organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Very strong Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment (posting, screening, interviewing, job offer, onboarding)
  • Ability to source candidates via multiple channels (grassroot recruitment, social media, etc)
  • Creative in approach to promoting job opportunities
  • Able to travel as required throughout the Southwestern & Central Ontario regions
  • Sound knowledge of London Ontario and the South Western and Central Ontario regions
  • Clean drivers abstract and possess a minimum full G licence
  • Possess a clear criminal record search
  • Ability to build community connections in the region
  • Available to work on-site in the London office as this is not a remote position

Responsibilities

  • Post all job opportunities and drive high-volume recruitment to ensure all positions are filled efficiently.
  • Interview candidates, maintain candidate databases and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Interview candidates, maintain accurate databases, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics and progress regularly, providing analytical insights to support leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute innovative social media and advertising strategies to attract candidates.
  • Contribute to a positive new hire experience by staying connected throughout onboarding and beyond.
  • Gather, audit, and manage all required documentation during hiring and onboarding.
  • Work closely with Operations, Training, and other teams to coordinate a smooth recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Build local community connections and partnerships to support recruitment efforts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative tasks, improve processes, and enhance recruitment outcomes.
  • Be proactive in recommending and implementing creative approaches to attract new talent
