About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for partnering with Plexus leadership and HR Business Partners to anticipate and meet the evolving human capital needs of Plexus, and introduce top talent into the Company. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will own the entire recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, assessing and selecting outstanding candidates, building a network of passive candidates, forming relationships with community and business organizations, and onboarding of new hires. The Talent Acquisition Specialist may also assist with other general HR functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), using appropriate technical language and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and aggressive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow through on commitments.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills needed.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills needed for working with a variety of people throughout the Company.
  • Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • HRMS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • General office equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Partners as well as Hiring Leaders to determine hiring and business needs, qualifications and selection criteria.
  • Aggressively network, advertise, and message within various local or global platforms such as LinkedIn to engage passive candidates.
  • Individually own full cycle recruitment consists of sourcing, phone screening, assessing, selecting, and supporting top talent through their first day. This includes the ability to assess all skills, education, salary requirements, and potential of candidates. Including a clear understanding of each candidates needs to transition to a new role.
  • Participate when needed in formal onsite interviews.
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers on suitability of candidates to the job, the team and the company.
  • Help all understand we are accountable for improving employee retention through selection best practices.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the Company, its culture, benefits, products and services in order to sell the Company, the job and the career opportunity.
  • Assist with other general HR functions.
