About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the growth of our furniture retail brands by identifying, attracting, and hiring high‑quality talent for Sales, Warehouse, Customer Service, Visuals, and Store Leadership roles. This position plays a critical role in shaping the customer experience by ensuring our stores are staffed with motivated, customer‑focused team members who represent our brand with professionalism and integrity. The Specialist manages full‑cycle recruiting, partners closely with store leaders, and maintains a strong pipeline of candidates for high‑volume and fast‑moving positions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete hiring process for furniture retail positions including Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Visuals, and Store Leadership.
  • Partner with store managers to understand staffing needs, sales goals, and team culture.
  • Post and maintain job ads across job boards, social media, referral programs, and internal platforms.
  • Screen candidates for service mindset, sales aptitude, communication skills, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with store leadership, ensuring timely follow‑up and clear communication.
  • Engage with passive candidates and maintain warm leads for future openings.
  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and responsive experience for every applicant.
  • Communicate clearly about expectations, compensation structure (including commission roles), and store culture.
  • Represent the company brand with enthusiasm, consistency, and professionalism across all candidate interactions.
  • Provide weekly recruiting updates, pipeline reports, and hiring timelines.
  • Support hiring events and job fairs to attract local talent.
  • Assist with onboarding coordination, background checks, and pre‑employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and ensure all hiring steps follow company policy and employment law.
  • Support consistent hiring practices across all store locations.
  • Protect confidential information and uphold professional standards in all recruiting activities.
