Job Summary Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for all stages of the recruiting lifecycle (identifying, filtering, qualifying, and presenting candidates) to build a strong talent pipeline. Works closely with Hiring Managers to understand departmental staffing needs

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a recruiter function either in an HR Department or agency.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task
  • Customer focus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including; Outlook and Teams
  • Up to 20% day-travel required

Responsibilities

  • Recruits both passively and proactively via recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting and other resources such as community networking, college and technical schools, high schools, etc.
  • Posts available positions on various social and career platforms, including but not limited to internal ATS, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and established state agency departments and within OFCCP guidelines.
  • Works with hiring managers to evaluate their needs and develop an effective sourcing strategy to quickly fill openings; including building interview guides.
  • Pre-screens qualified candidates to verify they meet minimum qualifications of the role.
  • Coordinates interview schedules.
  • Presents offer letters and onboarding materials.
  • Dispositions candidates in ATS as per OFCCP guidelines.
  • Plans, coordinates and attends job fairs and hiring events.
  • May conduct new hire orientation for new employees.
  • Responsible for tracking recruiting metrics such as time to fill and retention.
