About The Position

A Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for high-volume recruiting for various positions. In this role, you'll be a full lifecycle recruiter, assisting in creating a streamlined hiring process and partnering with internal stakeholders to fill entry-level warehouse positions to mid-level management roles. A successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. They will be able to attract candidates using various sources, including social media networks and employee referrals. The responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with social media, C.V. databases, and professional networks like LinkedIn
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS); expertise with the ADP ATS preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented with an excellent ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to multi-task and service multiple internal clients simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar in a high-volume environment. Experience in warehousing, supply chain, and /or industrial manufacturing fields preferred.
  • MS Office application and Excel Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification obtained from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the organization’s overall recruiting strategy to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.
  • Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications, ensuring accurate classification of exemption status, and essential duties.
  • Conduct market research and comp analysis to determine competitive salary ranges.
  • Design interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives.
  • Source qualified applicants, screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews, coordinate references and background, pre-employment screening process and make offers of employment.
  • Mentor and train management and hiring managers in the areas of interviewing, recruiting, and the use of all recruiting methods and tools on an on-going basis.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
  • Collaborate with management to determine selection criteria for candidates.
  • Develop and maintain an expertise in trends and best practices for recruitment and retention.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references. Participate in interview and selection process, providing advice and insight to hiring managers.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports, for recordkeeping and to share with key stakeholders.
